Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Chui Learn app, by ICIVA TECHNOLOGY, C.A., and what happens to your data.
From the app
- Open Chui Learn and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is deleted right away.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, write to [email protected] from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete account". If you signed in with Google, use that Google account's email. To protect your account, we only act on requests sent from that address. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, password, date of birth, Google data if you signed in with Google, and your username.
- All your progress, your custom words, the welcome survey, and your suggestions, reports and corrections.
- Your usage data in PostHog, if you had agreed to share it.
- Your news email subscription, if you had one.
- If you delete it from the app, also the app's data on that device, including your profile photo.
What is kept for a while
- Our server's backups: your data is gone from them within about 30 days.
- Technical error reports in Sentry: deleted within 90 days at most.
- Email delivery logs in Resend: deleted after 30 days.
